Physical Installation & Wiring (Where Others Fail)

Access control is not just about sticking a reader on a wall. It requires proper electrical wiring and fire safety compliance. Our technicians handle:

• Power Supplies (SMPS): We install dedicated 12V power supplies to ensure the locks have stable power and do not burn out.

• Exit Buttons: We install push-button switches inside the secure room so employees can exit without needing to punch out.

• Break-Glass (Fire Safety): We install emergency break-glass units next to doors. In case of a fire or power failure, breaking the glass instantly cuts power to the lock, unlocking all doors for safe evacuation.

• Fail-Safe vs. Fail-Secure: We configure the locks based on your safety requirements. For example, Fail-safe means the door unlocks during a power cut for safety; Fail-secure means the door stays locked during a power cut for high-security areas.

What Affects the Price of Access Control?

Frequently Asked Questions

What happens to the door lock during a power cut?

This depends on how we configure it. For fire safety in offices, we usually configure it as “Fail-Safe.” This means if the power goes out, the magnetic lock automatically releases and the doors unlock, allowing people to exit safely. For high-security areas like cash rooms, we can configure it as “Fail-Secure” (stays locked), but we will connect it to a UPS.

Can I open the door remotely from my mobile phone?

Yes. If the system is connected to your office network, we can provide software or a mobile app that allows the admin to view live door status and remotely unlock specific doors for visitors.

Can I use one card for attendance, door access, and the canteen?

Yes. We use a single RFID card or a single face template for the employee. The card can be mapped in the software to track time, open doors, and even deduct money in the canteen.

Does the system work if the internet goes down?

Yes. Access control controllers have local memory. Even if the network drops, employees can still punch in and open doors. The data is stored on the device and automatically syncs to the main software once the network is restored.

Can we integrate the access control with our existing CCTV?

Yes. We can integrate the access control software with your DVR/NVR. If someone swipes a card to open a restricted door, the CCTV system can be configured to automatically pop up the live camera feed for that door on the security monitor.

Can we control who enters which door at what time?

Absolutely. The software allows you to set zones and time schedules. For example, you can restrict cleaning staff from entering the finance department, or set the server room door to only open for IT managers between 9 AM and 6 PM.
